About the Special Issue: Aesthetic Bioengineering
This special issue of the Journal of Fiber Bioengineering and Informatics aims to bridge the fields of aesthetics, biotechnology, and fashion engineering. It seeks to explore the integration of biological principles and engineering methods into fashion and textile design, promoting innovation in sustainable, functional, and aesthetically advanced products. The issue will cover both traditional approaches and emerging technologies—such as AI-driven design, digital fashion, and virtual prototyping—to advance research and practice in aesthetic bioengineering.

1. Waiver of the article processing charge (USD $385 for the first 8 pages and USD $45 for each additional page).
2. Award of Honorary Certificate for Invited TBIS Publication.
3. Priority opportunities to present oral or poster presentations at the TBIS International Annual Conference.
4. Public recognition of the top 20% of excellent papers published in the previous year at the TBIS International Annual Conference, with the award of TBIS Outstanding Paper’ and TBIS High-Quality Paper certificates.
5. Priority consideration for TBIS awards, including the Young Scientist Award, Innovative Research Award and Best Doctoral Dissertation Award for authors publishing in JFBI.

7. Priority approval for experts who have contributed significantly to the journal's development to establish Sub-Committee under TBIS.
8. Priority recommendation, under equal conditions, for experts and young scholars who have made important contributions to the journal in the nomination for TBIS Fellow and international academic awards.
The Textile Bioengineering and Informatics Society (TBIS) is a prestigious interdisciplinary platform for academic and technical exchange in the fields of international textiles, apparel, and biomedical engineering applications. Its official journal, the Journal of Fiber Bioengineering and Informatics (JFBI), was launched in 2008. JFBI is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing knowledge in fiber material science and engineering, textile science and engineering, clothing science and engineering by promoting interdisciplinary research at the intersection of bioscience and engineering, and other disciplines. The Textile Bioengineering and Informatics Society and Zhejiang Sci-Tech University have joined forces to establish the ATT JFBI Editorial Board, dedicated to making JFBI a world-class academic journal.
