Submission Guide
Published quarterly, Journal of Fiber Bioengineering and Informatics is a journal designed to be of broad interest and use to both researchers and engineers of information systems. We welcome original papers in areas of computer science and computational applications of information systems.
Before making a submission, please make sure that you have included all necessary details.
Please make sure you have provided:
- Name of the author designated as the corresponding author, along with their:

- Ensure that your manuscript is in LaTeX format. If you are unfamiliar with LaTeX, you may submit your manuscript in PDF or in Word format. However, once accepted you will be asked to provide the final revision of your paper in LaTeX.

- Ensure that graphics are high-resolution.

- Be sure all necessary files have been uploaded/attached. All figure captions are available.

- All tables are present (including title, description, footnotes).

- Ensure your manuscript has been ‘spell checked’.

- Verify that permission has been obtained for use of copyrighted material from other sources (including the Web).

Check that references are in the correct format:
Responsibility for the accuracy of bibliographic citations lies entirely with the authors.
Citations in the text: Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list (and vice versa). Any references cited in the abstract must be given in full.
Citing and listing of web references. As a minimum, the full URL should be given. Any further information, if known (author names, dates, reference to a source publication, etc.), should also be given. Web references can be listed separately (e.g., after the reference list) under a different heading if desired, or can be included in the reference list.
Text: Indicate references by number(s) in square brackets in line with the text. The actual authors can be referred to, but the reference number(s) must always be given.
Example: "....as demonstrated [3,6]. Barnaby and Jones [8] obtains a different result....“
List: Number the references (numbers in square brackets) in the list in the order in which they appear in the text.
Examples: Reference to a journal publication:

Reference to a book:

Publication ethics and malpractice statement
Journal of Fiber Bioengineering and Informatics (JFBI) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. Authors who submit papers to JFBI attest that their work is original and unpublished, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. In addition, authors confirm that their paper is their own; that it has not been copied or plagiarized, in whole or in part, from other works; and that they have disclosed actual or potential conflicts of interest with their work or partial benefits associated with it.
Copyright
Papers submitted must be original and unpublished, and should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. In general, if a paper is accepted for publication, authority to publish elsewhere will not be refused, provided an appropriate acknowledgment is made. It's a condition of publication that authors assign copyright to Textile Bioengineering and Informatics Society. Also, authors must warrant that their paper doesn't constitute an infringement of an existing copyright and that they'll indemnify the publisher should there be any breach of such warranty. Before submission, authors must get permission from copyright holders to reproduce any copyright material that's to be included in the paper. A copy of this permission should be sent to the publisher. Adequate acknowledgment must also be made in the paper.
